Yes, it is a western wear shop but they do great cobbler work!
Jessie, is the owner and he does an amazing jobs on boot repair.
I had a pair of "out of stock - must have this season"
designer boots that I was only able to find the only pair online.
However, to my disappointment when the boots came to me they
were 1 size too small (since I used a coupon code it was a final
sale), I was soo upset (ebay perhaps?)...but I really wanted
these boots so I went over to F&J's and Jessie was able
to work his magic and stretch it out 1 size up and was able
to do more if it didn't fit. Yippy! I had my boot stretched
for less than $20.00 (the boot had to sit on the stretcher about
1 week and longer if I wanted more room). The boot looked great!
Sometimes, after stretching a boot it the leather can look worn
out, but of course he told me the leather on these boots were
really good that was why it stretched well. So I guess it does
depends. Jessie, also can fix any problems (stains, calf sizing,
sole repair, scratches etc.) for your shoe and by far he is
the best! ***** |
| I just had a pair of boots repaired, and
the owner (a very polite guy) put the best set of soles on it
I've ever had. Excellent grip on asphalt. They're cowboy boots,
and I ride a motorcycle, so he put what are essentially hiking
boot treads on it. Great job, quick turnaround. Totally recommended.
